The new Skibban Library, located in Kulturhuset Fiini, will open on January 7, 2026.
Skibban is library in the city center open to the public with a Nordic theme. This means that anyone can borrow Finnish and Swedish fiction by Nordic authors from the library. If you have a library card that works in any public library in Satakunta, it will also work at Skibban.
The space is a beautiful wooden library where art is present everywhere. Skibban Library is located on the ground floor of Kulturhuset Fiini, with large windows overlooking Eteläpuisto Road.
Loans can already be reserved for pickup at Skibban, but reservations will only be sent to Skibban starting from January 12, 2026.
